  I wish I could Listen To Ghulam Ali: Modi    |    PakistanTribe.comIslamabad: Veteran singer Ustad Ghulam Ali, is a first Pakistani that will take part in the Music Festival at  India’s historical snkt Mochan temple.

The Hindu on Wednesday told on its website regarding the event organizers that legend Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, his son amaan and ayyan, Pandit Birju Maharaj, Hariprasad Chaurasia, Sonal Mansingh ,Hashmat Ali Khan.  and 50 artists will participate.

 Nath Mishra ,patron of the temple, told that for the first time in history, an artist from Pakistan will also perform.

India’s elected Prime Minister Narendra Modi was invited to participate in the festival, but he apologized because of engagements.

Modi said on Twitter on Tuesday ‘I wish I could get a chance to go to the fair, where many famous artists who delight audiences sometime in the future’

I have listened to Ghulam Ali in the past and now have learned from the newspapers that Ghulam Ali expressed desires that I should come to the event. Unfortunately, I will not be able to.

Modi said in another tweet that the festival is no less than a treat for music lovers.
