The Capital City Will See "Off Lights" Early |PakistanTribe.comISLAMABAD – Due to the prevailing wave of energy crisis the Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif order to close the marriage functions latest by 10pm, shops by 8pm and restaurants by 11pm.

The same routine would be followed in the whole province, Punjab.

While addressing the Cabinet Meeting on Energy in Islamabad on Wednesday, the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that country is in severe shortage of power and electricity, we need to take strict actions to save the electricity.

He said that Day light is the best light to work in, so functions, markets and restaurants would be closed at 10pm, 8pm and 11pm respectively.

Prime Minister also advised the Ministry of Water and Power to launch the awareness campaign for the general Public for the conversation of electricity.

The Prime Minister while chairing the meeting also ordered to complete the liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) based projects within the prescribed time limit.

Prime Minister also gave approval of the energy audit and energy conservation in industries to save electricity bills.

He said that this is the national resource and we should use it in a proper way to save the use for the healthy duration of time.

Prime Minister also updated the 1100 Km North-South Gas pipeline which is expected to be completed by 2017.
