Pakistan maintains that intelligence and security agencies are acting in collaboration to find the accused of the yesterday’s event of Border clash.
The spokesperson, Tasneem Aslam, said that we highly condemn the incident and heartily condole to the victims of that incident.
The Foreign Office also asked Iranian authorities to provide any evidence they have regarding the incident.
She added that Pakistan is with the victims of those incident and share sincere condolence with the government of Islamic Republic of Iran.
The statement came just on the same day of the visit of the Iran’s Foreign Minister, Javad Zarif, to the Pakistan. The Iranian Foreign Minister is coming for two-day’s visit to Pakistan to discuss the issue of Yemen and to have a discussion over Saudi airstrikes on the Houthis.
The Foreign Office Spokesperson said that we want to maintain good relations with Iran. The talks regarding the cross-border terrorist activities in the Iranian Province of ‘Sistan’ would be made part of the agenda.
The Iranian news agency, IRNA, reported yesterday that, “Eight Iranian Border guards were killed in a clash with Sunni rebels who had infiltrated from Pakistan.”
However, on Wednesday, the foreign office Spokesperson, Tasneem Aslam, said that in-depth investigation is underway and we will provide justice to the assassinated soldiers by putting in trial the accused persons.
