By-Election NA-246 |PakistanTribe.comKARACHI – The Election Commission Sindh asks Chief Election Commissioner to deploy rangers in NA-246 on the Election Day.

The Provincial Election Commission, due to security concerns, writes a letter to the Chief Election Commissioner and requests him to deploy rangers in and around the polling stations of NA-246.

Due to the increasing security issues and clashes between the competing parties in the NA-246 the Provincial Election Commission asks Election Commissioner to position Rangers and Army in the sensitive constituencies.

Election Commission has also finalized the time for the polling in NA-246 on 23rd April. The polling for Elections will continue from 8am to 5pm. There will be no break during the election, and it will continue for 9 hours.

Provincial Election Commission is also advised to finalize the lists, other documents and ballet papers and other election stuff by April 10.

The Chief Election Commissioner also advised the Provincial Election Commission to finalize the posting of staff and its training latest by 10 April.

The Election will take place on April 23 in NA-246, and the election of Cantonment Board Local Bodies would take place on April 25.

Many members have filled their documents and there are many contestants in the election. But the major combat seems to be among the candidates of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, Jamat-e-Islami and Muttahida Qaumi Movement.

Earlier PTI also demanded Election Commission Of Pakistan to place Army and Rangers on the polling station on election day.
