The detainee, Ali Raza, told the court that his kidnapper was his is my wife.
He requested the court that he doesn’t want to live anymore his wife.
Mr. Raza told the court that his wife kept him locked in a room of the house where she herself or her servants would often give him a sound thrashing. She neither allows any member of his family to see me nor permits him to make a call to them.
“I fear for my life,” Raza said.
Raza’s brother filed a habeas corpus petition alleging that his brother was illegally detained by his employer and that she was not allowing him to leave the ‘workplace’.
However, when a court bailiff raided the house to recover the detainee, the woman said that she was not Raza’s employer, but his wife. She also claimed to be pregnant with his child.
Meanwhile, Raza admitted to marrying her seven months back, but he begged the judge to be set free.
The court allowed Ali Raza to go with his family.
