Interior Department of Azad Kashmir on Thursday has issued notification to 63 organizations under the Anti-Terrorism Act 2014 to ban the activities in the boundaries of Kashmir.
According to the notification banned organizations includes Al-Qaeda, Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammad, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, Jaish-e-Mohammad, Sipah-e-Sahaba, Tehreek-e-Jafaria, Khodam Islam , Hizb-ut-Tahrir, Balochistan Liberation Army, Shia Students Action Committee Gilgit, People’s Peace Committee, United Baloch Army, Tehreek Taliban Mohammad and the 313 Brigade other organizations includes.
However, it has decided to keep eye on activities of Dawa party of the Hafz Mohammad Saeed.
The notification prohibited any individual or group in Kashmir to cooperate with these banned organizations.
Over the situation, the Additional IG Azad Kashmir Fahim Ahmad said that from the beginning of May, implementation on the National Action Plan will be started.
DG Yaseen Qureshi while briefing the media said that according to the National Action Plan the Department of anti-terrorism will be establish in Kashmir. He further told that 500 young people will be recruited in the department, who will be well trained, and well equipped with sophisticated weapons.
He told that Apex Committee will also be created in Azad Kashmir and it will start operating from May.
