He said it is not known when Imran khan would become mature politician, adding that the PML-N along with its coalition partners JUI-F and others could state protest demonstrations in Peshawar but it will not do so.
Addressing a press conference in Lahore Press Club, Saad Rafique said that the PML-N has learnt a lot from past experiences and will behave like mature party. He said that it was not difficult for the PML-N to form government in KPK with the help of Maulana Fazlur Rehman but it did not do so, adding that the PML-N was in position to form government in Balochistan but it gave chance to nationalist parties.
PML-N leader said PTI chief had not launched any development projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa except for administering polio drops to children. He said that the prices of commodities would not come down with the protest but it would happen in the result of good governance.
Terming Imran Khan’s steps as childish, Saad Rafique said PTI chief’s decisions were becoming a threat for democratic system. He said Imran should call off the protest of today (Sunday).
Saad Rafique said that the country’s problems cannot be resolved by playing politics on public issues. He said that which has no strength in parliament stage protest demonstrations. He said PTI has 34 MNAs and KPK government but instead of taking up these issues in the parliament Imran Khan is staging rallies. Saad Rafiq said that PTI should give suggestions for decreasing inflation in parliament.
