KARACHI – A student of local university in Karachi, Haris Javed, who was burnt in February, succumbed to injuries in hospital on Thursday, PakistanTribe reported.
Haris Javed, a student of Iqra University who was kidnapped by some unknown people was found burning in Mehmoodabad area late night and rescued to hospital was under treatment for the last one and half month. He also had told police that he neither knows the kidnappers nor he recognize any of them.
Police had also found a note along with her body written “if ‘the operation’ did not end, other students would also be kidnapped and burnt like him.”
The boy had then totally dis-owned any thing related to note and said that he has nothing to do with any operation. Meanwhile, a rickshaw driver had claimed and recorded his statement before police to have dropped deceased Haris and a girl on the day he was kidnapped.
Police could not trace responsible for the crime and the burnt student succumbed to injuries in Karachi on Thursday.
