ISLAMABAD – Political circumstances of Federal capital of Pakistan seems to become stable as government signs agreement with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) over formation of Judicial Commission, PakistanTribe reported.
The announcement of this agreement came from PML-N senator and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar late night on Wednesday. “Finally the document has been signed” said Ishaq Dar during a press conference along with PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
The commission will investigate the alleged poll rigging in 2013 General Elections. Chief Minister Baluchistan Abdul Malik Baloch also signed the agreement as a witness.
“In case the commission determines that the election results did not reflect the true mandate of the people, the national and provincial assemblies will be dissolved and followed by fresh elections. Otherwise, all of PTI’s allegations over the veracity of the election will stand withdrawn and the party will return to the National Assembly to play its democratic role,” Chief Negotiator of PML-N led government Ishaq Dar said.
Ishaq Dar further said that government want free democratic state system in Pakistan and the establishment of Judicial Commission was to clear the PTI’s objection.
