ISLAMABAD- Govt. suspends the senior superintendent of police (SSP) Muhammad Ali Nekokara from his post over not acting upon the government advice. He refused the government orders during long marches and sit-ins of Imran Khan and Tahir-ul-Qadri.
The former SSP refused to accept the orders of the government because it was not given in writing. He asked the government to give the orders in writing, not orally.
The Charge was taken from him on the same day when he refused to act on government’s order. The Inspector General of Police (IG) Islamabad notifies his suspension order upon the direction of the Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
The former SSP can file the appeal to the Supreme Court in 30 days.
He is punished for not listening to the government after passing the seven months of his non-compliance of expressed orders of the government.
Sources said that, he was suspended on the same day, but notification is issued now.
In the expressed orders during the sit-ins in Islamabad, he was asked to do shelling on the protestors. He, while not accepting the orders of the government took the leave from the duty.
