Former Cricketers Flared Over The New Selection Committee And Inexperience Captain |PakistanTribe.comLAHORE – The former cricketers criticized the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for letting the team Pakistan under the inexperienced Captain and upon the formation of new Selection Committee.

They hailed the Cricket Board’s decision and said that this is the big injustice to the game of Cricket.

Board is based on the policy of liking /disliking instead of merit. Board is taking such decisions which will not bring reforms in the game. Entire Board is working under the Principle of ‘reference’ and ‘Yes Sir’.

Someone from senior players should be given the Captaincy, while Azhar should have been installed as Vice-Captain.

Former Test Cricketer, Abdul Qadir, said that Azhar Ali has not played one-day Cricket for the past two years and was not even included in the World Cup squad, then on what criteria he was made the Captain of team Pakistan.

He said that why former Chief Selector Moin Khan was left so easily, and why he was not interrogated for team’s performance in the World Cup and regarding the issue of Casino.

Former Test Cricketer, Sarfraz Nawaz, said that PCB has taken the extremely bad decision. He said that Azhar Ali has not played one-day matches for a very long time. He should be made to play the One-day matches first, and then given the captaincy of team Pakistan over his performance in the 50 over game.

He further said, under these circumstances, Younis Khan or Muhammad Hafeez would have been a better option than Azhar Ali.
