RAWALPINDI – Pakistan Army’s media wing denies the news about sending its Military Troops to Saudi Arabia explaining that the Joint Military Exercise is already underway with KSA, PakistanTribe reported.

Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) told on Monday that the Samsam-5 was planned and scheduled before the middle east war and Pakistani troops are taking part in joint Military Exercise in Taif, city of KSA since March 19.

Director General of ISPR, Major General Asim Bajwa said in his official social media account that

He further introduced Samsam which is a permanent joint military exercise between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He said

Saudi Arabia has involved itself in Yemen Civil war. Saudi Led airstrike of gulf countries is underway in Yemen. Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had unofficially declared that Pakistan will send its troops to Saudi Arabia to help brotherly Muslim Country.

He had also said that Pakistan will not tolerate any attack on ‘Holy Sites’, however his decision was not brought into parliament yet.

Many politicians had strongly criticized Sharif for his intentions and said that this is not the war of Pakistan but the war of KSA.

It was also warned by some analysts that the involvement in Yemen civil war will be a big foul of Pakistan as Pakistan has not yet recovered the losses of Afghanistan war.

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and MQM has warned government over sending troops to Saudi Arabia.
