No More Place For Girls In The World’s Second Most Populated Country |PakistanTribe.comNEW DELHI – As many as 17,000 girls were killed in Indian state of Madhya Pardesh in one year.

 Many people of this state, after finding out the gender of the baby using ultrasound, forced women to go for abortion. This is for the first time that the Health department revealed such heinous figures, said Indian Media.

According to Health Department, there has been the continual decrease in the number of girls during the years 2000-2011 in Madhya Pradesh.

Though the state is well developed in terms of business and education, but there are mere 917 women in comparison to the 1000 men. However in Gwalior State, this woman to man ratio per 1000 is only 811.

There is a prominent decrease of 2.5% in the six years old girls.

In one of the recent surveys it is found that there are many Ultrasound centers formed in the inner cities during the past few years.

The United Nations has declared that India is the most deadly country for female children, and that in 2012 female children aged between 1 and 5 were 75 percent more likely to die as opposed to boys.
