Situation in Yemen is worsening by every single second. Saudi targeted the Shia rebels of Yemen which triggered a serious reaction from regional rival Iran.
Saudi Arabia with the alliance of 10 countries had begun air strikes on Thursday against the Houthis and heavily bombed their position is capital Sanaa.
Military barracks and air bases of houthis was heavily bombed, which kill 18 civilians and 24 civilians got serious injuries.
The Iran government shown some concern and warns that such skirmishes may lead to the regional conflict.
Saudi Arabia maintains that it bombed the Sanaa in order to reinstate the elected government of president Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi, who has been dragged into the southern city of Aden by the Houthis.
The Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said that such strikes from outside the Yemen are against the territorial integrity of Yemen. He further said that, “such adventures would end up in the great loss of life.”
In the recent developments, supporter of President Hadi organized a protest. On Thursday, after the air strike, many pro-houthis activist gathered in Sanaa to condemn the Saudi-led air strikes.
White House Said the United States was coordinating military and intelligence support with Saudis but not taken part in the air strike, international media reported.
The European Union condemns the air strike in Yemen by the Saudi-led forces, and said this is against the sovereignty of Yemen and it would have regional implications.
