QUETTA – A government official from the Pakistani province Baluchistan tells that six militants got killed in cross fire with frontier core, a paramilitary solider also lost his life in the gun battle, PakistanTribe reported.
According to FC, exchange of fire took place during a search operation in Mashkay. A heavy cross fire took place between both the parties and killed six militants and several others injured.
FC spokesman further said that they have recovered communication devices, arms and ammunition from the hideout. The militants were involved in kidnapping people for ransom, target killing and attacking paramilitary forces convoys.
On the other hand, a banned militant group Baluchistan Liberation Front (BLF) claimed that the people who got killed in the crossfire were not the militants, and they were the common people however, this claim could not be independently verified.
Baluchistan is facing an unstable law and order situation for several years. Numerous attacks on security forces, minorities and Shia Hazara community have taken place.
Other than that missing person, events of mutilated bodies are also happening in the province.
