Pakistan showed his grim belief that final resolution regarding Jammu and Kashmir should be in accordance with the frame of mind of Kashmiris.
While talking to Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin said that we will not hurt the sentiments of Kashmiris because they are the major stakeholders in this issue.
“Kashmiris would be given the chance to exercise their right of self-determination,” he added.
Foreign office spokesperson Tasnim Aslam said that, “The resolution demand free and impartial plebiscite under UN auspices to reach at a logical conclusion pertaining to the Kashmir dispute.”
Syed Akbaruddin added that,Pakistan has maintained that dialogue is the only way to bring peace and economic development in South Asia.
Pakistan is committed to its already declared stance that she needs peace and is looking to have healthy and cooperative relations with the entire neighbors in general and with India in particular.
He further added that, the Government of India always remains keen to gather voice for itself.
The only way forward in these circumstances is a bilateral dialogue process which will lead to peace not only in these two countries but to the entire region including Jammu and Kashmir and terror stricken Afghanistan.
In the process of bilateral dialogue the will of the Kashmiris should be given primary importance in order to reach at any result oriented conclusion.
