LAHORE – Supreme Court concludes the case of the suo moto action against the Kot Radha Kishan incident in which a Christian couple was burnt alive, PakistanTribe reported.
It also has advised the trial court to get it done with. Advocate General Punjab Razaq A.Mirza said in court that twenty five more suspects are being arrested, and this has increased the number of arrested people to one hundred and one.
Police has also taken the trolley and the loudspeaker in their custody which was used in this crime, and the witnesses are being provided security.
A new joint investigation team in the lead of DIG Akhtar Hayat is also being formed. According to AG, this case is also under trial in lower courts.
The apex court said that providing protection to the minorities is the government’s constitutional responsibility. “ Police should take actions against such crimes and bring responsible to the justice.”
The court put satisfactory remarks on the proceedings of the case and said that there should be independent trial of this case in the trial courts.
It further said that in case of any complaint during the trial in trial courts, any of the both parties can consult the Supreme Court for the justice.
