LONDON/ISLAMABAD – Former Governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar who recently joined PTI asks for donation in his diary published in herald magazine, PakistanTribe reported.

He said that he has lost his British nationality. He request international community to help him regain the nationality for which he needs 900 pounds. He has given the login ‘sarwar.com’ to take donations.

I am of the Scottish origin. My great grandfather fought war of Scottish independence and succeeded in it.

With the sheer hard work I became the MP in Glasgow in 1997, I progressed leaps and bounds under the patronage of Tony Blair. I left the British politics in 2010.

I let my son to take over my seat to make him able to run the run the party matters smoothly. I was offered the governing of Punjab as a reward of fundraising for the Pakistan Muslim League-N abroad.

I was made the dummy Governor and had no say in the affairs of the state.

President Mamnoon Hussain called me once in his office and invited to create a support group for the neglected members of the party. He was very desperate that nobody has time for him. Media, PM, party members and even the family of his own has no time for him.

Even the mirrors sometimes stop showing him and he could see himself only on the backside of rickshaws with caption “The lost President.” But president solicited that he does not even has the power to resign.

Sarwar further explained that “I was left with no other option but to resign to regain my voice.”
I left the Governorship and the luxurious life for the sake to regain my stature. Now I am not even in a position to pay the rent of my house in Defense Housing Authority (DHA).
