NEW YORK – American President Barack Obama while criticizing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that he made it difficult for people to believe that whether their peace dialogue with Palestine is possible.
After the success of Netanyahu party’s in Israel recent elections, President Obama in his chief remarks made his critique over Israeli PM.
In his interview to The Huffington Post, President Obama said that for Israel to insure its long-lasting survival, two state strategy is the only way out.
In his election campaign Netanyahu compel voters to vote in his favor with his slogan that he will not let Palestine to become a separate state.
President Obama said that we take him at his word when Netanyahu said that during his tenure Palestine is not going to become an independent state. He said we have to take care the coming events to avoid any catastrophic situation in the region.
According to Barack Obama this statement of Netanyahu regarding Palestine, is against Israeli traditions.
Though he vowed to keep working with the Israeli government on military and intelligence operations, Obama failed to say whether the United States would continue to block Palestinian efforts to secure statehood through the United Nations.
While he expressed worry about the strain that Netanyahu had placed on Israel’s democratic fabric, Obama did not see the Israeli prime minister’s electoral victory as having a tangible impact on current negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program with U.S.
