Full Dress Rehearsal Starts To Celebrate Pakistan Day

ParadeISLAMABAD-The armed forces has commenced the parade rehearsal to celebrate the Pakistan Day. PakistanTribe.com Reported.

According to the details, Pakistan is all set to revive its old legacy of celebrating Pakistan Day on 23rd March, after the gap of seven years.

Brigadier Khurram Sarfarz commands the rehearsal of the Parade.

Full dress rehearsal has been started today. To ensure the security and safety Murree Road, High Way and Shakarparian road has been blocked. Therefore, people of Islamabad and Rawalpindi are facing traveling issues due to this road blockage.

Security of Islamabad and Rawalpindi has been increased and high-alerted due to terrorism and other security concerns.

Also, the mobile services of the area surrounding the parade ground have been suspended.

As a reminder, the last military parade took place on March 23, 2007 during the tenure of Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf. However, since that year, no military parade took place owing to security concerns in the country and wide spread terrorism.

Parade and March-past is also held to pay respect and tribute to the soldiers of Pakistan, who rendered valuable sacrifices in the line of duty.
