MQM, Ibad Under Trouble After Saulat Mirza’s Discloser | PakistanTribe.comKARACHI – Saulat Mirza, an accused working under Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM), made some serious confession hours before his hanging about the party’s criminal activities.

He also claims that Mr. Ishrat Ul Ibad gives political shelter to the party’s criminals as he is also the member of MQM.

Mirza’s confession turned Pakistan’s politics ups side down. Rumors are that governor Sindh will resign in few days as he is no more remain in the good books of the powers. However, Mr. Ibad is denying any such kind of news. He is holding the governor’s post since December 27, 2002.

On the other hand, Dr. Farooq Satar, a Parliamentary leader of MQM, made his speech in National Assembly on Friday in which he directly threaten the Prime Minister Nawaz Shreef and said “if this situation of MQM media trial will remain the same then there is the possibility that me and Prime Minister will soon meet in Attock Jail”.

He further demands a fair scrutiny in all political parties. While deranging and intimidating the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in the matter he said “we all possess Mirzas, if we have Saulat Mirza then you (PPP) have Zulfiqar Mirza”.

He stresses that an unbiased monitoring committee should be created to deal with Karachi’s issue. He assured the MQM will coordinate with Security agencies only if they shear intelligence with them.

Earlier, on Thursday interior ministry has decided to ban on foreign visit of eight members of MQM and enlist their names in Exit Control List (ECL). However, interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, on his Friday’s press conference insured that government will change the policy of enlisting names in ECL. Previously ECL has been used for personal and political gains but know government will not allow this to happen.
