Saad Rafique said that conspiracy was being hatched for mid-term polls, saying that Imran Khan is leading this drive and Sheikh Rasheed is doing the job of wheedling.
While talking to media outside the Parliament House in Islamabad on Wednesday, Khawaja Saad Rafique said that it was shameful not to accept election defeat. “Why doesn’t Imran first verify the thumb impression of his own constituencies,” he questioned.
Imran Khan wants to become prime minister at every cost, he said, adding that every thing would be fine for the PTI chief if he became the prime minister.
He said that the tradition of blackening faces of opponents is dying down and that PML-N and PPP had already understood this reality. But Imran Khan doesn’t appear to understand it.
He said that the people show their inferiority who do not accept their defeat and do character assassination of others, saying thata lot has been done, now the PML-N would not remain silent and would answer to the statements of Imran Khan.
He said that Malik Riaz filed petition in Lahore High Court as to what is the thumb impression, saying that one should wait for the judgment of the court.
Khawaja Saad Rafique said that as to whether the magnetic ink was used or not. He said that the entire record of NADRA and correspondence of the whole country should be summoned. He said that as to what was proposed by NADRA and election commission of Pakistan and what was purchased, saying that as to who committed corruption and who is the accused and as to who is involved in substandard.
He said that as to why PTI Chief took oath from Ayaz Sadiq for membership of the parliament if Imran Khan had doubt in the membership of the parliament of Speaker National Assembly, Ayaz Sadiq. He said that statement of Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has weight that discussions are underway for mid-term elections.
