KARACHI – One died, 13 injured in the bomb blast in Burhani Masjid located in Aram Bagh area of Karachi, PakistanTribe reported.
Police confirmed the blast news as the people were leaving out of Masjid after Juma prayer but the causalities were not reported yet.
A few weeks ago, an unidentified person opened fire at shops owned by Bohra community in Karachi’s Bahadurabad area.
The owner of motorbike is known as Liaqat who is resident of Kemari Karachi.
Chief Ahl-e-Sunnat Waljamat (ASWJ) condemns the blast.
Police says the motorbike used in blast is registered with the number of KG-7264. Also the owner of motorbike was traced.
A leaflet found in the area was shared by one, Syed Ali Raza Abidi.

The child’s age is reported between 12-14 whereas the deceased man was 60 years old. The emergency ward of Civil Hospital has been sealed and relatives of the injured are not being allowed inside An other causality of a child is reported by the police sources. The child’s identity was not told yet. The body of one person has been brought to Civil Hospital, according to a local English daily. The deceased has been identified as Shabbir Hussain.
Eye witnesses and worshipers say that the Masjid was not given security.
SSP South claims two kilogrammes of explosives were used in the blast.
Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has condemned the blast.
Police is collecting the evidences from the spot.
The masjid is located in 1 km area of Rangers Head Quarter.
Rangers have taken over the control of area.
“The bomb was blasted by a time device” DIG Abdul Khaliq Shaikh. He further confirms the injuries to four people only.
The number of injured is touching the number 10.
Bomb disposal squad has not yet arrived. The bomb was planted in the motorbike and dozens of unchecked motorbikes are still still parked there.
Aram Bagh is the most populated area of Karachi. Rescue teams are facing difficulties to rescue the injured.
Rangers and police have cordoned the area and rescue operation is under way.
One person embraced martyrdom according to hospital sources. Eight are injured two of them are critical.
Burhani Masjid is located in the most populated part of Karachi. Rescue teams are shifting people to the nearest hospital.
Initial reports told that the bomb was planted in a motor bike which was parked near main gate of Masjid.
Masjid is located adjacent to Burhani hospital so the people who sustained injuries are shifted to the hospital. Three injured are reported to be in serious condition.
