KHYBER AGENCY – In an apparent attack from outlawed militants on, at least 11 security personnel were injured in an attack by militants in Mangrosa area of Khyber Agency, PakistanTribe reported.
The militants attacked a convoy of security forces by an improvised explosive device (IED) in which 11 security personnel sustained injures two of them were serious.
The injured soldiers were airlifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Peshawar for rescue.
The backlash came days after the airstrike of Pakistan air force in Tirah Valley in which atleast 34 terrorists were killed, according to Pakistan Army’s media wing Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
ISPR had said Pakistan Air Force (PAF) jets carried out early morning strikes on wednesday and pounded militants’ hideouts in Tirah Valley of Khyber Agency near Afghan border.
The press release issued by ISPR stated “34 terrorists were killed in the intelligence-driven air strikes in which latest technology was used to indicate and destroy eight militants’ hideouts.”
