ISLAMABAD – Pakistan interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan says that the execution of Saulat Mirza was delayed due to his health, PakistanTribe reported.
Nisar has submitted his written answer to National Assembly about Karachi ‘Nine Zero’ operation on Thursday.
In his written statement he claimed that 5% increase has been observed in the crime rate even after the Karachi Nine Zero operation. “Around 3500 criminals have been arrested from Karachi since the start of the operation,” the minister claimed.
Talking about the execution of Saulat Mirza’s he elaborated that Mirza’s execution has been considering his health as he is not well enough to be executed.
Chaudhry Nisar further informs National Assembly that he had a detailed discussion with British High Commissioner about Karachi’s current situation and role of Altaf Hussain. He asked him to stop Altaf Hussain to issuing disturbing accusations against Pakistan Military and Rangers.
Saulat Mirza was involved in different heinous crimes. Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon while his media briefing told that Saulat Mirza was shifted from Karachi to Mach Jail Baluchistan. He is a very dangerous criminal due to the nature of crimes he committed. His execution has been postponed on the request of Baluchistan government for 72 hours.
