LAHORE – Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif, addressing to Christian community in Lahore said that worshipers were soft target for terrorists and the whole nation condemns the attack on Christian community,but the responsible of violence will also be punished strictly.
Chief Minister said that it was the worst act against Christian community but the every one should realize that the terrorism is the issue faced by every Pakistani not by Christian only.
He also condemned the burning alive of two people during the mob protest and said that innocent were burnt due to aggression of mob.
“We have to adopt tolerance as a nation,” Chief Minister said. He further said that nation should alien its struggle against terrorism war.
Earlier the interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan, speaking in the National Assembly on Tuesday, had also said that Masaajid and Imam BArgahs were attacked but no one violently protested. He said that “a violent mob reaction like that in Youhanabad was not witnessed in those incidents.”
He condemned Sunday’s Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan – Jamaat-ul-Ahrar (TTP-JA)-claimed attacks on two churches in Lahore and further said that such incidents occurred all over the world.
Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, today during his address to Christian community leaders, said that the responsible will have to pay for what they have done. He was talking about the people who burnt innocents alive.
