ATTOCK – Security forces arrests a terrorist from ‘Ghor Ghashi’ area of Attock early morning on Monday, PakistanTribe reported.
According to details, police also recovered three suicide jackets form the custody. Also eight hand grenades were recovered from him.
“The terrorist belonged to outlawed movement but his identity can not be disclosed,” police official told PakistanTribe when he was contacted.
Earlier in January, District Police had arrested five hitmen involved in targeted killings in Attock. District Police Officer (DPO) Attock Israr Ahmed Khan in a press conference had said that the accused were involved in attacks on police, secret agencies officials and businessmen.
During interrogation they have confessed of their involvement in scores of targeted killings in Attock, the DPO had said. He also told that the accused have been members of an outlawed group having links with North Waziristan and Afghanistan.
They have confessed that they had got training from Afghanistan before coming to Attock, the police chief said. Police conducting raids to arrest other accomplices of the accused, he added.
