ISLAMABAD – A body of newly born infant recovered in washrooms of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) commonly known as ‘Complex’ earlier on Monday, PakistanTribe reported.
According to details, the body was recovered earlier on Monday from the washrooms in PIMS. The PIMS spokesman told that police has taken the body in custody.
The body was recovered from the washroom of ‘Emergency ward’.
It was also told that the baby was not born in hospital as all the babies born in hospital have a sign on their Navel. It seems that someone has put the baby in washroom.
In January a baby was kidnapped from the same hospital who is yet not recovered even after the lapse of two months.
PakistanTribe had received reports about the protest of people who had blocked the road from Zero Point to Faisal Masjid as they claimed their infant was kidnapped from the children ward of Pakistan Institute Of Medical Science (PIMS).
Dr. Javed Akram, senior official in hospital had confirmed this sad happening and committee were established to investigation the incident and recover the baby. Head of Children ward and security chief were also the member of this committee. Committee was supposed to submit reports within three days but still the baby is missing.
The mother of baby told that a doctor came to her and asked for her baby for some medical treatment, after that the doctor neither returned, not she found her baby.
