Twin Blasts Hit Pakistan Churches In Lahore, Killed 15, Leave Dozens Hurt | PakistanTribe.comLAHORE – Two blasts in Pakistan province Punjab’s capital Lahore killed 15 people and wounded 78 others, PakistanTribe.com reported on Sunday.

According to the PakistanTribe (PT) correspondent from the area, emergency has been declared in all hospitals of Lahore immediately after the blasts.

This Youhanabad blast is allegedly being called a suicide attack.

According to witnesses, failing in entering the Church, 2 suicide bombers blew themselves up at the entrance.

Witnesses said the first blast occurred in Catholic Church and others in Christ Church, where Christians were engaged in worshiping.

People at the site said the attackers fired before entering the church but in failing this attempt, blew themselves up.

A 25-year-old injured who was present at the site, became the victim of the mob violence, began immediately after the attack, and died. Later, the mob set the dead on fire.

Police took the body in custody and arrest 2 suspects as well.

Youhanabad is located near Lahore General Hospital; people started shifting injured to the hospital with self-help.

Around 10 million Christians reside in Youhanabad.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif condemns the incident and sought a report.

He further said that the protection of people and their property is government foremost duty.
