ISLAMABAD – As a Technology Hot Spot, Pakistan is one of the most focused countries of International tech giants with their ads, offers and products, but sometime the routine communication turns into a funny movement.
In a recent short-video made by Pakistani youngsters, the same thing happened with Nokia and its slogan – Connecting People.
In a 27 second video a boy, calling to a girl on her cell phone, asks ‘Uzair hay’ (Uzair is there?). The girl replies with ‘no’ then the boy says ‘SHADI kr lo mujh sy, ho jaey ga’ (Marry me and Uzair will be there).
In next scene, a couple can be seen with a child and then Nokia’s slogan “Connecting People” comes into frame.
With more than 130 million mobile phone subscribers and around 50 million internet users, Pakistan is among world’s top 15 cellular/tech using countries.
