KARACHI – An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Thursday handed 26 suspects including Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Amir Khan into Rangers’ custody on 90-day remand.
The suspects were blindfolded and only Amir Khan was handcuffed when they were brought to the court.
Corp Commander Karachi Naveed Mukhtar visits Rangers head quarter on Thursday where he appreciates the Rangers raid at Nine-Zero.
According to details, Naveed Mukhtar – corp Commander Karachi – visited Rangers head quarter in Karachi earlier on Thursday.
He was shown the weapon meant for North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) seized from Nine-Zero.
Naveed Mukhtar appreciated the raid and said that the area should be cleared at any cost.
Director General Rangers had also said that there will be no discrimination and operation will be continued till the presence of last terrorist in Karachi.
Rangers, a day before had raided over the MQM head quarter Nine Zero and seized the weapons. Also siz wanted criminals were hiding inside whose presence in there was a big question mark.
MQM had totally denied the recovery of weapons and said that the weapon was not recovered but Rangers had taken the weapons instead.
