ISLAMABAD – Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar says that the auction of Third Generation Technology (3-G) and Fourth Generation Technology (4-G) will produce around one million new jobs for Pakistanis in technology field, PakistanTribe reported.
Ishaq Dar also said that the country’s economic condition is becoming stable as he said that government observed 13% increase in revenues.
Talking about the inflation ratio in country, the minister said that the inflation will reduced to 6% in next few years. Dar also showed his concerned over foreign reserves which is a big source of revenue for Pakistan. He assured that the foreign reserves will be increasing more than $ 16 billion till the end of this year.
Earlier Dar had ordered the expeditious settlement of genuine refund claims and sought a report on outstanding refunds of taxes.
The Finance Minister had passed the direction while reviewing implementation of budget initiatives, announced in July last year.
He had promised with the business community that their tax claims would be settled expeditiously -an account where FBR has so far let him down.
Dar was informed that the sales tax refund cheques amounting Rs10.187 billion had been issued to textile sector on September 30, 2014, thus disposing all verified claims which had been filed by June 30, 2014, according to a handout issued by the Ministry of Finance.
