MUMBAI – Ayushmann Khurrana recently visited his hometown Chandigarh where there was a blood donation camp, PakistanTribe.com learnt from International media.
The actor got to know about the camp and decided to become a part of it and donated blood himself. The camp had an impressive turnout. It witnessed 900 donors and Ayushmann was one of them. He interacted with the people present who were all praise for his recent release Dum Lagake Haisha and complimented him on his fantastic performance.
Ayushmann was humbled with all the praise coming his way.
Ayushmann Khurrana is an Indian film actor and singer, who started his career as a Television Anchor. In 2012, Khurrana made his film debut in Shoojit Sircar’s romantic comedy Vicky Donor, which touched on the topic of sperm donation in India.
Upon release, the film was a critical and commercial success, and Khurrana received positive reviews for his performance.
Ayushmann Khurrana is a native of Punjab, and studied at St. John’s High School and DAV College in Chandigarh. He majored inEnglish literature and has done Masters in Mass Communication from School of Communication Studies, Panjab University, in Chandigarh.
He has been active in theatre for five years. He was also the founder member of DAV College’s “Aaghaaz” and “Manchtantra”, which are active theatre groups in Chandigarh.
