PESHAWAR/ISLAMABAD – Army chief General Raheel Sharif during his visit to Peshawar Corp Commander Head Quarter said that the only way to overcome terrorism is operation against militants.
Raheel Sharif said that terrorists will only be kicked out of Pakistan by an operation.
Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a press release to media stated that Army chief was also concerned about the immediate rehabilitation of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).
He issued instructions to clear the effected area from terrorists as soon as possible so that IDPs may be settled to their homes.
Army Chief was given briefing about the security situation in KP and FATA on which Army chief appreciated and said that the security situation is satisfactory.
“Operation Zarb-e-Azb has brought a big change in security situation of FATA,” military’s media wing quoted the words of General.
Army chief also said that operation Zarb e Azb had not only cleared the area from terrorists but also there is a big change in border management.
It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan Army have sealed the western border as terrorists get into the country though Pak-Afghan border as Afghanistan is the hub and epicenter of international terrorism.
