LAHORE – Chief Minister Of Punjab, like to be known as ‘Khadim e Aala, (Chief servant)’ Shehbaz Sharif while meeting with highly officials from China appreciated and acknowledged China’s cooperation for economic prosperity in Pakistan.
Chief minister said that China has ever been with Pakistan in all difficult times. “China’s role in development of Pakistan is appreciable,” Chief Minister said.
The meeting was held in provincial capital earlier on Saturday where all the economic and developmental projects were discussed by both.
Punjab government has completed the first and biggest ever power project in Quaid e Azam park with the installment of solar power unit,” Sharif said.
He also acknowledged the Chinese investment in Pakistan, especially in Punjab province which gave an economic prosperity to to the country.
It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan and China are on economic corridor which will not only provide a trade route to south-western China but also Pakistan will conclude results.
President Mamnoon Hussain had said on the inauguration ceremony of Horse and Cattle Show that the Pak-China Economic Corridor Project would not affect adversely any part of the country, he said and called upon the people to play their role in maintaining a cordial atmosphere.
He said struggle and quest could make a hard target achievable, adding China became second biggest economy of the world through struggle and persistent efforts.
Following its neighbouring friend, he said, Pakistani nation would have to renew its pledge to eliminate corrupt elements and practices, and “if we succeed to do that, Pakistan would not be facing any more crisis or problems as on today.”
The President said that livestock sector was an important component of economic growth and the Punjab government had made commendable work for promotion of this sector. However, he called for making more efforts in this direction.
