ISLAMABAD/BEIJING – Sartaj Aziz -Advisor to Prime Minister on foreign policy – told that Chinese President Xi Jinping is currently not scheduled to attend the Pakistan Day parade on March 23.

He revealed that current schedule of Chinese President have not scheduled with a visit to Pakistan.

Chinese President was supposed to visit Pakistan on March 23rd on National Day parade to honor as a chief guest.

Chinese foreign had also confirmed during his visit to Pakistan that Chinese president will visit on National day parade.

“That will be his first visit to Pakistan as the head of state of China and that will be the first visit of its kind in nine years,” he said.

The Chinese president was initially supposed to visit Pakistan in August last year but the visit was postponed due to security reasons.

Analysts believe that it was a matter of honor for Pakistan if Chinese president will visit. The idea was from Pakistan when US President had visited India on Republic Day.
