LAHORE – Fulfilling its tradition of attacking the educational institutes, world’s biggest militant organization Islamic State (IS) alias Daesh threaten the University of Engineering and Technology for any possible attack.
A Police officer confirmed that the letter was about the suicide attack on UET Lahore. Also the Public Relation Officer (PRO) Dr Tanvir Qasim confirmed the letter with a threat of suicide attack.
Following the threat,security had been high alerted in the university to avoid any unpleasant incident.
Also the letter was treated seriously by the security forces as Police had launched a through and detailed search operation to clear the hostel from suspects.
Recalling the incident of Peshawar School attack, it is worth mentioning here that the terrorist before killing the innocent students, while picking up the toppers of class, had said that “the toppers are biggest evil as they made air crafts and bombs which are used against us.”
