SHIKAR PUR/ SUKKUR – Police arrests the responsible of Shikarpur carnage with a claim that the arrested accused are the member of Punjabi Taliban Ustad Aslam Group, PakistanTribe reported.
According to details, the arrested accused are member of Punjabi Taliban Ustad Aslam group.
Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Saqib Memon while speaking to media told that the accused Khalil alias Sikandar confessed the responsibility of Dargah Hajan Shah in which four people had died.
He further told that the gang was also involved in the attack on Dr Ibraheem Jatoi, National Assembly member.
“Some members of this group have been already arrested in 2011,” told SSP. Memon hoped that the rest of the gang members will be arrested soon as the network has been traced.
Regarding Shikarpur attack, Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah had announced on Saturday that the Shikarpur blast case will be sent to military court for trial.
Addressing a press conference in Karachi, CM had said the suicide bomber came from Dera Murad Jamali and stayed in Khanpur where he was trained for at least 15 days. He was associated with a banned outfit.
The chief minister appreciated the efforts made by the police, Rangers and intelligence agencies for arresting two people involved in the Shikarpur attack.
