ISLAMABAD – Continuous rain and harsh weather caused suspension of flight operations at Islamabad airport, PakistanTribe reported.
Harsh weather has caused total suspension on flight operation at Islamabad airport. It is raining in Islamabad for the last few hours. Airport authorities have diverted all the flights to Lahore airport.
APM Ayaz Jadoon confirmed that the flights have been shifted to Lahore till the weather is not cleared.
Weather in Pakistan and continuous rain has caused the decrease in temperature. Also the rods in hilly areas are blocked due to land sliding.
Pakistan Meteorological department reported that in the next few hours weather will be cleared from sky.
In another report from Jinnah International Airport from Karachi, two suspects arrested as they attempted to smuggle capsule filled with heroin in Dubai.
Anti Narcotics Force have not only arrested those smugglers but also started raiding around the country to arrest other members of network.
