ISLAMABAD – Visit of Chinese President in Pakistan worth a great importance as a day after the meeting with Chinese ambassador in Pakistan, Chief of Army Staff meets with governmental head, Nawaz Sharif to discuss the expected visit of Chinese president.
Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Tuesday met Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at the Prime Minister House in Islamabad and discussed with him the internal security situation of the country as well as Chinese President Xi Jinping’s expected visit to Pakistan.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was also told by Raheel Sharif about the operations launched by Pakistan Army country wide on the bases of intelligence information.
A day before Raheel Sharif met with Chinese ambassador to Pakistan in General Head Quarter (GHQ) Rawalpindi.
Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) has confirmed the Army chief’s meeting with Chinese ambassador earlier on Monday. Media wing of Army says that the agenda of this meeting was the expected visit of Chinese President.
Chinese president will visit Pakistan next month as a special guest on Pakistan Day.
