KARACHI – Karachi, which was once known as the city of lights, have now became the hub of terrorists and street criminals as it became challenge for Police, PakistanTribe received reports.
According to details, IG police Karachi has openly admitted that increasing street crimes have became a big challenge for Karachi police.
He was addressing in a ceremony where he admired the police force saying that due to police force efforts, there is a big decrease in crime rates in Karachi.
He also said that Karachi police is taking action against all outlawed movements including Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, TTP and Sipah-e-Muhammad.
“All the unregistered madrassas are being registered,” he said.
IG Sindh claimed that the murder cases have decreased up to 31% whereas the cases related to kidnap for extortion have also decreased to 33% in last six months.
It is pertinent to mention last week Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had visited Karachi to take some briefing on Baldia Town factory fire incident.
He had said that police’s efficiency is not satisfactory and law and order situation in the province is alarming.
