HAMILTON – South Africa beat Zimbabwe by 62 runs in the pool match of ICC Cricket World 2015, PakistanTribe.com reported.

In chase of 340 runs, Zimbabwe team all out for 277 runs in the 49th over. Masakadza scored 80 runs and remain top scorer from his side. Taylor played the 40 runs inning.

Philander and Morkel took two wickets each.

Batting first South Africa set the target of 340 runs for Zimbabwe in the pool match of Cricket World Cup 2015 at Hamilton.

Zimbabwe won the toss earlier and elected to field first against South Africa. Batting first South Africa scored 339  runs in the limited 50 overs with loss of four wickets.
