TAIPEI – Six prisoners of in Taiwan Jail committed suicide after they had a failed attempt of jail breaking in which they had hostage guards and seized their weapons, PakistanTribe received international media reports.

International media reported that six prisoners committed suicide in Jail as earlier they tried to break the jail but failed, later they all attempted suicide.

It was told that they attempted to break jail and seized the weapon of guards. They had demands from government to give them a safe passage out of the jail.

Deputy Justice Minister Chen Ming-tang said officials rejected the group’s demands for safe passage out of the prison and had tried to convince them to surrender peacefully during hours of negotiations.

“We tried to give them assurances so they wouldn’t do something stupid and to reconsider, but sadly they committed suicide and we feel deep regret,” Chen Ming-tang told a news conference in Taipei.

All the prisoners, before dawn, let the guards go and shot themselves.
