NEW DELHI – A helicopter of Indian Army crashed in Srinagar Kashmir, 30 minutes after taking off from army’s aviation base Manasbal, two pilots killed at the spot, PakistanTribe received international media reports.
According to details a helicopter of Indian Army was crashed in Bandipore district, 65 kilometers north of the Srinagar, and both pilot died at the spot.
No immediate reason was told by concerned authorities yet.
According to Indian media “The aircraft, identified as an Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH), came down in mountainous of Bandipore 30 minutes after it took off for a night training sortie from the army’s aviation base at Manasbal.”
One of the pilot was a lieutenant colonel and other was major ranked. There was no immediate reason given for the accident.
It was also told that weather was not too harsh to create any problem for chopper.
