LINCOLN – Zimbabwe beat Sri Lanka easily by 7 wickets in a warm up match of International Cricket Council (ICC) Cricket World Cup 2015.

Batting first Sri Lankan team scored 279 in the limited 50 overs. Karunaratne remain top scorer from Sri Lankan side with 58 runs. Mendis played the innigs of 51 runs.

Jayawardene scored 30 and Chandimal scored 29 runs.

Williams took three wickets from Zimbabwe side. Panyangara, Mupariwa and SF Mire took one wicket each.

In response Zimbabwe chased the target with loss of three wicket with eleven balls remaining.

Masakadza scored century, he scored 117 runs and remain highest scorer from his side. BRM Taylor scored 63 runs.
