CAIRO – Authorities have suspended the football league following the clash ahead of the match in capital of Egypt which caused 22 people dead, PakistanTribe received international media reports.

According to details the authorities have suspended the league and arrest warrants has been issued for the leaders of the Zamalek supporters group, the White Knights.

The world’s largest news channel reported the reasons of clash that The clash started as “the members of the White Nights, a hardcore legion of the Zamalek team’s fans, posted photos of the fallen supporters’ corpses, draped in the club’s white and red flags.”

Amr Ali Hussein, an injured fan said that “It was like walking into a cage, People started falling, others were hurt on the wire as they ran.”

He also told the police’s reaction as they triggered fire on people as violence started.“People were dying like chickens in front of my eyes,” Amr Ali Hussein told.

Another young man told that up to 50 fans starting piling on top of each other. “We were carrying people away,” he said “to save them getting trampled to death.

The local channel while broadcasting the show talked about the government “A regime that knows nothing but killing, The people revolted against the [interior ministry’s] thuggery, and will continue their revolution until they finish off the killers.”
