HUIDONG – As many as at least 17 people were burnt in fire in a shopping mall of Asia’s economic giant, China, on Friday, PakistanTribe received international media reports.
According to details the socialist China faced the latest terrorist activity on Friday as 17 people died in firing in a shopping mall.
The fire captured the mall on late Thursday on the top floor of building in Huidong county in the southern province of Guangdong.
Local media told that the rescue efforts took 18 hours to rescue people from firing even then 17 people could not survive and 17 people died.
People of locality told that the fire was too uncontrollable that a total of 270 firefighters and 45 fire engines were mobilized to extinguish the blaze.
Police said that it was not an accident but the responsible should be punished as there were no safety measures to control the fire.
Police have arrested nine managers of the mall and said that they will be investigated the tragedy.
Earlier two months before in Chengu a fire in a shopping mall in downtown Luzhou City of Southwest China’s Sichuan province had left 37 people injured, including five seriously and four people totally burnt to death.
