KHYBER – Security forces on Wednesday killed six militants of outlawed movements in an airstrike over their hideouts, PakistanTribe received reports.
According to details six militants have been killed in an airstrike launched to destroy the hideouts of militants in ‘Teerah Valley’ of Khyber.
Forces confirmed that two hideouts have been completely destroyed in strike where six militants were killed who belong to ‘Lashkar-e-Islam’ and ‘Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan’.
Five militants were reported to receive heavy injuries other than causalities.
All these airstrikes over the militants are operational part of Zarb-i-Azb and Khyber One.
A military offensive began last year in North Waziristan after a brazen attack on Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport and brought an end to months of largely fruitless government efforts to negotiate a peace deal with the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
Military have also launched mega search operation countrywide to trace the roots of militants.
