ISLAMABAD/PESHAWAR – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) warned its MPAs they will be expelled form party if they found involved in pole rigging directly or indirectly in upcoming elections of Senate from KPK.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had, on Friday, not only announced that it will take part in the upcoming Senate elections from KPK but also PTI chief Imran Khan warned his MPAs that they would be expelled from the party if they betrayed it during the balloting.
Imra Khan said that “I know Rs30 million are being offered for one vote in the K-P. But we will dismiss such members, who get involved in such practices even at the cost of our provincial government.”
PTI chief further demanded for an open election and said that the person who will be elected with the people’s consent will surely lead the country towards prosperity. “This secret balloting procedure has earned a bad name for politicians,” he said.
Pointing out the current government’s in-capabilities he reminded people that the government is not interested to govern the country as it was not elected by the people. He said that the government have no mandate of people and are concerned with their business only.
PTI Chief had also condemned the brutal attacks in country and said that government should take strict measures to eradicate terrorism.
He condemned the threats received to business community in Karachi and said that the business community should be given full security to run their business.
