ISLAMABAD – Declining trend in price of petroleum products have gave the benefit to end user over the globe and in Pakistan also Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has proposed summary for further reduction in petroleum prices up to Rs 18.85, PakistanTribe received reports.
OGRA has proposed summary for further reduction in petroleum products to give maximum benefits to end user.
According to proposed summary the price decline in rates will be as
Petrol prices reduction up to Rs 10.75
High Speed Diesel Rs. 8.80/
High Speed Octane Rs. 14.85/
Kerosene oil up to Rs 12.92/
Light Diesel up to Rs 11.44/
OGRA said that if the summary will be approved by Prime Minister then the petrol’s rate will be Rs 9 per liter less than CNG.
It is pertinent to mention that approval of this summary will make a new record of lowest rates of petroleum products in Pakistan for last seven years.
This is another reality of Pakistan that in last days,country had passed through the worst petrol crises which had not only suspended the movement of vehicle on roads but also caused suspension of power supply as there were no furnace stock had left to produce electricity.
It is reported that Baluchistan is still suffering from load shedding of electricity.
